Maverick Concerts Presents MAVERICK/​ MASH 100

On Sunday, June 21, Maverick Concerts Celebrates the Opening of Its 100th Season with an afternoon of FREE Music for All Ages in Maverick’s Concert Hall

There will be Food from Lucky Noodles and Pippy’s Food Trucks and Fun with children’s crafts from Fiberflame.

Mark begins the festivities with a fun, hands-​​on set for young and old. Mark often sings about family life and relationships, A multi-​​instrumentalist (piano, guitar, fiddle, banjo, and dulcimer) Mark has offered his unique and engaging programs at venues around the country.

Marc Black Band
Marc and his Band (Eric Parker, Mike Esposito, and Pete Levin) have deep roots in Woodstock and the Catskills. His sense of humor is always a hit with family audiences. The American Library Association has honored Marc with an award for Best Children’s Album.

Jazz at the Maverick | 1 pm– 2:30 pm

Teri Roiger Quartet
Co-​​founder (along with John Menegon) of JazzStock, Teri Roiger’s voice and style have been described as “uniquely compelling.” Teri and her quartet (Wayne Hawkins, piano; John Menegon, bass; Tani Tabbal, drums) will pay tribute to Billie Holiday, whose centennial is also this year.

Classical Grand Finale | 3:30– 5 pm

Nancy Allen, harp, and Carol Wincenc, flute Principal harpist of the New York Philharmonic, Nancy Allen joins the renowned, Grammy-​​nominated flutist Carol Wincenc for a program of French baroque and 20th century masterworks.

Julia Hsu and Peter Serkin, piano four hands
Acclaimed pianist Peter Serkin “has a way of striking that magical balance between intellect and heart,” according to the San Jose Mercury News. He and Julia Hsu will round out Maverick Mash 100 with works of Schubert and Brahms including 5 Hungarian Dances.
