“A Celebration of Seasons brings together three magnificently beautiful works, each with a tie to the holiday season.” Nadège Foofat.
The concert program includes Respighi’s Trittico Botticelliano, a magnificent and colorful work that musically depicts the famous triptych of paintings now in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy; Wagner’s Siefried Idyll, music that Wagner wrote as a Christmas gift for his wife to celebrate the birth of their son, and the exciting and virtuosic Baroque masterpiece, The Four Seasons, four separate violin concertos that Vivaldi wrote as a collection of pieces depicting Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Juilliard trained conductor and violinist, Nadège Foofat, will lead Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in the Baroque tradition, from the violin.
Tickets are on sale December 1. Ticket prices are $30/$25 for adults, $15 for students with ID and $10 at 7:30 for student rush tickets.
