This blue-sided rockfish appeared at first to be nibbling at the tentacles of the jellyfish, seemingly ignoring its powerful sting. However, careful inspection of the photographs indicates it is more likely that the fish was actually stealing food from the jellyfish, in the form of bits of organic matter adherent to the jellyfish's tentacles. This may represent the first ever photographic documentation of this behavior. Cyanea capillata and Sebastes mystinus.; Hunt Rock, Queen Charlotte Strait, British Columbia
