Brunt Gallery, Beacon- A exhibition of new paintings and works on
paper by the Psychedelic Furs’ lead singer/songwriter (and
area resident) Richard Butler. A graduate of the Epsom School of
Art and Design (UK) before world stardom, Butler has returned to
his paintbrushes with renewed passion, with is much evident in this
collection. Paintings by Michael Ricardo Andreev, and digitally
altered photographs by David Baratt. 7/7- 8/6, reception Sa 7/21,

John Davis Gallery, Hudson- Following in the footsteps of reknowned
father Theodore, Sara Jane Roszak has developed a distinct dontemporary
style, frequently mixing pastel chalk and and water-based media
to acheive often unpredictable results. With Sergio Sericolo and
Wilson Mclean, thru 7/15. Jon Isherwood’s marble sculpture
has a skin-like organic quality, achieved by various hi-tech methods.
With works by Erin Walrath, Fran Shalom, Roy Volkman, and Lucy Reitzfeld.
