you’re a lover of good, honest American music, be it
folk, country, blues, Tex-Mex, or rock ‘n’ roll,
this is a hard show to beat this December. Though it would
take up several pages to list the width and breadth of their
collective careers and influences, we’ll keep it brief,
with due apologies to these amazing artists. Happy Traum:
Folksinging contemporary of Dylan, Seeger, Ochs, musical pioneer
and educator. Artie Traum: brilliant guitarist, Blues Project,
True Endeavor Jug Band, numerous recordings including 2007’s
Thief Of Time. John Sebastian: Lovin’ Spoonful, Woodstock,
“Welcome Back Kotter,” hot blues harp. Cindy Cashdollar:
fiery dobro, Asleep At The Wheel, Paul Butterfield. Larry
Campbell: versatile multi-instrumentalist/artist, Levon’s
Ramble house band, Dylan’s touring band. Jimmie Dale
Gilmore: Flatlander w/ Joe Ely and Butch Hancock, top echelon
Texas songwriter, “Smokey” in The Big Lebowski.
