Nixon himself was once quoted as saying , “Without Martha
Mitchell, there would have been no Watergate.” Only history
can truly judge the accuracy o f that statement, but the lady’s
contribution to that historical moment of infamy makes ripe fodder
for good story-telling with interesting characters. Playwright Jodi
Rothe gets the most out of it with MARTHA MITCHELL CALLING, with
actress Annette Miller as the flamboyantly courageous wife of then-Attorney
General John Mitchell. Show runs 8/22- 9/9, We/Th- 7:30 PM; Fr/Sa-
